How to play Asteroids

I rotate my ship with the left and right arrow keys, push the up arrow to thrust forward, and fire with the spacebar. On a phone I hold the on-screen rotate, THRUST, and FIRE buttons.

I shoot the drifting rocks to break them apart. Large rocks split into two medium ones, and medium rocks split again into small ones, so the screen gets busy fast. Everything wraps around the edges, including me, so I use the whole field to line up shots and avoid collisions across my three lives.
